Reflections and Introductions

The journal has been revamped some time ago. This is supposed to reflect a change in purpose as well as attitude. I generally treated this thing as a time-killing activity that let me read entertaining and/or informative communities. Don't get me wrong, I'm going to keep using it as such.
But now it is also my fiction central, where I can flaunt Ideas and bits of story where they might even be read by sentient beings. It's a sort of test of my own courage. I know some people on my flist do write themselves (or did, at the very least), so there's also the possibility of getting actual feedback, of the qualified kind. (I'd really appreciate that!)

The main fiction project at the moment is... a bit of a complicated one. So let me start at the beginning.

A Journey: )

This journal is now supposed to be the place where I can develop bits and pieces of the Novel!Story, keep them and look at them and maybe get some commentary. There may also be some Fanfiction here, eventually, but don't expect some kind of epic... I only write crack, if anything.

Now that I have retold the story of how I got here, let me describe "here".

Some Basics: )

I think I will introduce each character in their own post, because this one is plenty long already. Plus i think they each deserve a chance to shine on their own.

Again, I'd be happy to answer any questions or receive any feedback (even if it says "WTH are you thinking? This is LAME!").

Sometimes I draw things.

Occasionally, they even come out looking sort of ok.
Beasties... )

I hope these didn't bore anybody to death. ;)

...I held a presentation. 1.7, with an option on 1.3 if the abstract is good enough. Yesterday I held another one, which upped a previous 1.7 by 1.3 to make a total of 1.5 - yeah, don't ask me, I'm bad at maths.

Nao I need to be off, I have lessons.

I tried to post something to La Casa, but LJ ate half the post every. damn. time. Anybody know what's up with that?

...I ended up deleting the borked post. Will try again tonight/tomorrow.

Cheers.

You know -

I haven't really felt like blogging, or writing, in the past week(s).

Just putting that out there.

Of course, now that I've said so, inspiration will probably hit and I'll post, like, three times in as many hours or something. I doubt it, though.

It's Over.

Despite the dramatic title, nothing actually world-changing has happened. I am, however, finished with university for this year. The fourth of January will see my triumphant return, though. ;P This morning, I woke myself up. My brain has apparently wired itself to make sure I don't miss lessons. Er... thanks, brain? Ten minutes later, I was on my way to the actual lecture. It snowed. Not the tinkly, single-crystal ice needles of the last two days, mind - this was (and occasionally is) actual fluffy-looking snowflake snow. It's sort of like mother nature took a good hard look at my scheduling, and said "Fuck it. I might as well make sure everybody knows it's Christmastime.", then proceeded to snow the place up a bit. :D I also have videos.
Hubba Hubba Zoot Zoot. I have no idea what it means, but damn if that isn't a catchy song. Good luck trying to get that earworm back out. ;P

</div>
Just... watch this, people. Nothing compares 2 it, I'll have you know. ;PPPP As to what I was listening to when writing this? Have a link. http://spider-pig.ytmnd.com/

Words. Comment and say "words", and I will give you five words that remind me of you. Then post them in your journal and tell what they mean to you.

I got these from [info]claire_chan .

In other news, I have a new icon! Yay. ;)
